Stay Informed About Fires Across California

Knowing where the fires are and if they're moving closer to your area is important. Check local news or apps that track fires, like the Los Angeles Fire Department's website. Gym owners should have a clear plan in case the gym needs to close or evacuate. Members should know alternative routes to get home safely. Wildfires are a big worry in California, so you should be more careful.

Securing Your Kickboxing or MMA Gym

For gym owners, now is the time to check your building’s safety. Move anything flammable away from the walls outside. Make sure your fire extinguishers are easy to find and ready to use. If you’ve got important business records, back them up online.

Staying Connected with Your Kickboxing and MMA Community

Training is a big part of our lives, and the Los Angeles wildfires shouldn’t stop that completely. Gym owners can think about running online classes for members. For those training, stay in touch with your coaches and fellow members. We’re all in this together, and staying connected helps.

Helping Fellow Members During California Wildfires

These are tough times for a lot of people. If someone in your gym has been affected by the fires, offer to help. Maybe it’s just checking in with them or finding ways to support displaced families. A little effort goes a long way in keeping our community strong.
